GOALS
  • Provide our  Moringa Garden Circle members  with interesting and varied programs. 
  • Introduce our guests to the benefits of garden club membership.
  • Increase our knowledge of conservation.
  • Proactively protect our environment.
  • Encourage registration of our gardens as  wildlife sanctuaries. 
  • Support community-based projects  such as Broward County’s Naturscapes’ initiative and  Habitat for Humanity.
  • Continue our involvement with the Stranahan House rose garden and the Lighthouse for the Blind garden maintenance programs.
  • Support our members’ initiatives in Youth Gardening and other educational endeavors.
  • Participate in our fund raising efforts that support Camp Wekiva and other worthy projects.
  • Attend meetings and events sponsored by Moringa and the Fort Lauderdale Garden Club- FLGC
  • Commit to 100% participation in the FLGC Standard Flower Show.
  • Celebrate our friendship through our membership in Moringa Garden Circle.

FLGC Meetings: Second Friday Each Month, October through May  at 10:00 a.m.  Each year there is one evening meeting which,i n 2011, is on Thursday March 10th Social Hour (Refreshments at 6:00 pm)  Moringa Garden Circle is the hostess and Rose Bechard-Butman will be the speaker.
